You scooped me 3M!

I'm very happy as I have championed this book since it came out. Way to go Mr McCarthy.

I loved this book, too. One of the reasons I wanted to reread the print version instead of just listening to the audio. I'm glad I read it before it was an Oprah pick, too!

Just like Joy, I had a feeling it would be one of those "important" books and made my husband read it as well. He loved it, but also hates the lack of punctuation (one of the reasons I listened to the audio in the first place).

if lack of punctuation bothers you, you will have trouble with The Keep. but if you don't read it, you will be SAD.

Is this his first Pulitzer?? I know he has won other things...

I've got this from the library, and it's next on my list, right after I finish the FABULOUS Special Topics in Calamity Physics....

Uh oh, Lisa, sounds like you and I are going to butt heads about 'Special Topics'. (I loathed it so much, I didn't even finish it.) Can't wait to hear why you liked it so much. ;)

I'm definitely adding this book to my reading list, after seeing so many rave reviews here, and his Pulitzer Prize win. I just have no idea when I'll be able to get around to reading it, as I'm sure the queue at the library is huge!

I have just picked this up from the library toay - only have it for two weeks as is a high demand item.

Will only be a quick read - but I feel it will not be a comfortable one :)
