I am currently reading The Inheritance of Loss and have to confess that I am struggling with it - I am hoping it is not going to be the first DNF (did not finish) for the year.
I have The Ghost Map ready for next up - It is going to be my 'bubble bath' read as soon as I have finished my current book 'Ladies of the Grace Adieu' for another challenge. I usually have two or three books on the go at the same time.
Completed:
Half of a Yellow Sun by Chimamanda Ngozi Adichie
Suite Francaise by Irene Nemirovsky
Still to do:
The Inheritance of Loss by Kiran Desai - Reading Now
The Ghost Map by Steven Johnson - scheduled to read in April
Digging to America by Anne Tyler
The Road by Cormac McCarthy - on order at library (I'm 3rd on list)

I really struggled with Inheritance of Loss, too, as did other bloggers whose reviews I've read. Her writing is really wonderful, but the story fails to captivate...
Agree about 'Inheritance of Loss'; it just didn't grab me like I thought it would.
I am reading it as well and while I love the writing style, I am struggling with the story and the characters.
I hope you'll finish it, Sally. I remember it lagging for me in the middle, but then picking up again - and I *am* glad I finished it because ultimately I came to appreciate what Desai was doing with the novel. Hang in there!!!
